The Morning Glory promises to be a morning after remedy, but in reality, it’s not much of a cure. It is, however, a remarkable cocktail. A surprisingly drinkable spirit heavy drink, this cocktail is too good to be reserved only for mornings.

Morning Glory
ingredients
- 1
oz ANGEL'S ENVY Bourbon finished in port wine barrels - 1
oz brut sparkling wine - 1
oz cognac - 1
bsp simple syrup - 1/6
oz Curaçao® - 2
dashes Angostura® bitters - 1
dash absinthe -
lemon twist garnish
directions
- Combine all ingredients, except for the sparkling wine, in a mixing glass.
- Fill with ice and stir for 20 seconds.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and top with sparkling wine.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.
